Genocide Conference St. Thomas More Junior High School
Using the Aspen Foundation grant, organized a two day conference for students to learn about genocide and the opportunities to promote equality among global citizens.

Kidz Konnect Covenant Christian School
Aspen Foundation grant provided opportunities for groups of students to interact in significant and meaningful ways to connect and establish positive relationships with students from a neighbouring First Nations community.

"Some people were a little bit shy to start with, but by the time it came to say goodbye, everyone was high-fiving, giving hugs and exchanging phone numbers."

Building Peaceful Communities Together Cranston School
Used the Aspen Foundation grant to encourage respect, dignity and compassion through song, dance and visual art, in an effort to improve the sense of community and lower the incidence of bullying. Grade four “Peace Ambassadors” planned and led activities for all students with a focus on peace, hope and harmony.

CTK Rotary Interact Club Christ The King Jr/Sr High School
With the help of Aspen Foundation grant, developed a student led service group that plans monthly local service projects with the intention of engaging in international projects every two years. Nine students fundraised and used grant money to go to Costa Rica for two weeks to help repair an orphanage.
